Casemate Langrune-sur-mer

Small fortification on the edge of the wall overlooking the sea, able to accommodate one to two shooters for M-G 40 .

Small anecdote

I spent my first vacations in Langrune, and in this casemate lived a man we called a tramp at the time. This irascible man was nicknamed "Joseph" and lived there in this little blockhouse battered by the sea on stormy days. But the strangest thing is that people at the time said it was a German who had stayed there after the war.

I don't know how much truth there is in this story. So much for the little anecdote about this place.
