La Forest-Landerneau Cemetery
The communal cemetery of  La Forest-Landerneau is home to the grave of Sergeant J.F.J Sheridan  radio operator of a Bristol Beaufort of the 217 Squadron of the Royal Air Force killed in action at the age of 25.
On February 15, 1941, three Bristol Beauforts took off from Saint-Eval in Cornwall to attack the heavy cruiser "Amiral Hipper" en route to Brest, the three British aircraft were shot down by Messerschmitt Me 109s from Jagdgeschwader 7.
