Hit by German defense (FLAK) on return from a bombing mission over Beausoleil airfield.

John Ellyatt, Mechanic RAF
Gilbert Daniel, Navigator, RAF
Robert Keith Marshall, Bombardier, RAF Volunteer Reserve.
Alfred Charles Perkins, Radio, RAF Volunteer Reserve
Fred Beales, Machine Gunner, RCAF
Albert Mason, machine gunner, RAF Volunteer Reserve.

They are all buried in Laval Valfleury cemetery.
