Battalion Chief Finat Duclos and Captain Geze

Plaque affixed to the facade of Marseille's Saint-Charles train station paying tribute to Battalion Chief Finat Duclos commanding the 3/7th Algerian Rifle Regiment and Captain Geze commanding the 2nd Battery of the 67th African Artillery Regiment who fell at this location on August 25, 1944 during the fighting for the liberation of Marseille led by the 3rd Algerian Infantry Division.
