Members of the Résistance de Libération Nord movement (Canton de Lanmeur, Morlaix sector), They were arrested on July 3, 1944 following a denunciation, at the Mesgouez farm in Plougasnou, then interned, interrogated, tortured on the site of the German radar camp of Ruffélic

Emile Jegaden is arrested following a denunciation with his sister Yvonne and brother Yves along with a group of Resistance fighters, on July 3, 1944 at the Mesgouez farm in Plougasnou.
On the site of the German radar camp at Ruffélic, it is interrogated, tortured, interned and then deported to Nazi concentration camps.
He is imprisoned on the Ruffélic site until July 10, 1944, before being transferred to the Natzweiler-Struthof Nazi concentration camp and then to the Schomberg kommando He is deported, destined for a slow death by forced labor, deprivation, bullying, suffering and fear.
He is classified in the NN (Nacht und Nebel) category reserved for dangerous resistance fighters doomed to disappear into the night and fog.
He escapes or during the evacuation of the Schömberg camp during the death marches and is liberated by American doors, on April 28, 1945 at Mittenwald in Austria.
