Stele in tribute to Daniel Bourdon, Pierre Brasquer, Jean Le Goff, Henri Mourrain executed  on August 4, 44 .
While the Germans were ordered to retreat to the Crozon peninsula, rumors of the arrival of the Americans in Quimper were rife, generating jubilation that led to the disarming of a German soldier riding a bicycle. This soldier will report the altercation  to the Oberleutnant Kuschakanof who commands a unit of Caucasian soldiers in Kerveillant. Arriving at Plozévet Kuschakanof's soldiers made the junction with a column that was heading towards Pont-l'Abbé  in blood.
Daniel Bourdon came out of a shop where he had taken refuge and was shot.
Jean Le Goff arriving from Quimper unaware of the events got out of his vehicle and was shot while his hands were up.
Henri Mourrain  was killed by a grenade thrown through the window of his carpentry shop.
Finally, gendarme Pierre Brasquer also arriving from Quimper, was wounded in the arm and took refuge in a house where a grenade thrown by German troops seriously wounded him in the stomach. He died the next day.
This bloodbath ended thanks to the intervention of a German officer who ordered Kuschakanof to return to his barracks.
