Monument erected on the (disputed?) site of the 56 th Hospital in LISON, along route D 11, isigny s/ mer - Saint-lo. The 56th General Hospital moved from its landing place on Utah Beach to the area north of Lison on July 28. The hospital was deinstalled on October 23, 1945 and relocated to Belgium.
