Monument to the 11th British Armoured Division, created in 1941, which fought in the Battle of Normandy, notably in operations Epsom, Goodwood and Bluecoat, as well as in Allied operations in the Netherlands and Germany.
The only monument to the soldiers of the British 11th Armored Division, whose emblem is a charging bull.
After liberating Flers, Operation Kitten was launched on August 16, 1944, and the site witnessed terrible fighting against German paratroopers that cost the lives of 11 British soldiers and 4 French civilians.
